Free scans

• We store the website address you scanned, the scan results and any UTM campaign tags in the link you came from, for up to 90 days, so your results page works and we can count usage.
• To enforce rate limits we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address that changes every day; the IP itself is not stored. Rate-limit records are deleted after a few days.
• No account, no cookies, no advertising trackers.

Paid reports

• Dodo Payments (merchant of record) processes your payment. We receive your name, email, the order details, the website address you asked us to scan, and whether you ticked the monitoring waitlist box. We never see your card details.
• We use your email to deliver the report and answer support requests — and, only if you joined the monitoring waitlist, to tell you once when monitoring is available. No other marketing.
• Order records and the generated report are kept for up to 2 years for support, tax and accounting, then deleted. Ask us to delete them sooner: support@bytkit.com.

Service providers

Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email delivery, US region) and Dodo Payments (payments). We don’t sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing support@bytkit.com. We’ll reply within 30 days.
